Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Very Versatile
So far, I've used this mix to make bread, buns, bagels, pound cake, piecrust, etc. It's the most versatile GF mix I've found and the taste is so good, my co-workers have asked me for some. It doesn't taste stale if you can't heat it and it stays fairly good for a few days just sitting on the counter in a Ziploc. It works just fine using my Kitchen Aid mixer and my oven, I didn't need a bread machine.

The suggestion on the package to add 2 TBSP molasses for a whole wheat bread taste makes a good GF bread great. Also, I've continued using a tip I picked up somewhere to substitute 1/4 cup of ground flaxseed + 1/4 cup water for 2 eggs (more fiber, less fat). These two things turn out a good brown bread that makes a great ham & Swiss w/ stone ground mustard.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great for the whole family!
These cookies are every bit as good as their gluten counter part. Simple to make. Delicious and much cheaper than purchasing the already made, pre packaged gluten free cookies.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Pamela's wheat free and gluten free bread mix
Out of all the ones I have tried, this is the best tasting and the easiest to make and also bakes as the package directions say that it will. Great item,

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Tasting Bread
This is great bread. We recently found out my husband was allergic to wheat. I tried finding any kind of bread that tasted like we were used to. This bread is great. My husband absolutely loves it! I actually even like to eat this bread even though I'm not allergic to wheat and I don't even miss the bread I was used to. Definately a must try!

Ted Shelton: "Frankly I felt that BlogOn was a waste of time and money."

I think the BlogOn conference was overproduced. In the name of professionalism the organizing firm turned off potential speakers, oversubscribed sponsors, etc.

I would have liked a debatable topic (aside from *blogging = journalism*. Two people slugging it out. Or a devil's advocate taking challenges from the floor.

I would have liked more hard numbers. Facts. Charts. Diagrams. We have the analytic tools to BS-check them; harder on vague opinions and single-points-of-observation.

I found it disturbing how much money was being commanded (from both attendees and sponsors) for a conference at a university. Maybe it was because it was at Berkeley? Maybe we should have taken over a community college or a Cal State or a DeVry. The facilities costs would have been cheaper at least. I heard an organizer apologize and say the next one would be at a hotel, like that would have been better.

Cost wasn't the whole problem. We're at a stage where early adopters are meeting folks who want to leap the chasm. Huge gaps in knowledge, experience, context, culture, vocabulary. It's the gap.

There are huge ideas to be explored, even in the world of applying blogs to media strategy and the enterprise. And most of the big ideas weren't even on the agenda at BlogOn. Probably because it was catering to those who want to commercialize, fund, and otherwise exploit (excuse me, "get in on") the emerging medium.

Let's fork these conferences so advanced topics on business and technology and culture fit the participants.

DETROIT/WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A top lawmaker predicted Washington would approve a bailout for U.S. automakers after they submitted survival plans, and General Motors Corp and Chrysler LLC said they needed an immediate infusion of cash to avoid failures.

It wasn't a Merry Christmas A few years ago while visiting friends in Germany, we made a trek to Verdun, France. As an American, I had no clue as to what was there other than it was an old city dating to the (Pre)- Roman era.
I was shocked and humbled to what I saw. The greatest battle (possibly in the history of modern warfare) was at the very place I was walking.
At the Douaumont Ossuaire, we video taped our tramping about. Below the bldg, there are windows that peer into...what to call it? A giant room filled to the top with bones and skulls. I taped for a few minutes and then felt an overwhelming sense of sadness. I was looking at 130,000+ forgotten warriors. I shut of the camera and destoyed the tape. This month, please take a moment to remember the fallen. My respect to those who died. As an American. Previosly.
