Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Inspiring and well written
I picked up this book and could not put it down. I got it from the library but had to go buy my own copy. Denise is so open and honest and I learned so much from her story. Thanks so much for opening up yourself and sharing your joys and heartaches. I cried and laughed. I wasn't really an Alan Jackson fan but I am now! Great story!
Shannon

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - It's all about him
I was shocked when I got this product, as I thoutht I was getting a used copy and it was brand new and had never been opened. I received it in a very short amount of time. I would purchase from them again.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Poignant heartfelt read about her love and faith in God
Denise Jackson's journey through love, heartache, despair, and ultimately happiness and spiritual awakening is truly a remarkable book. Through lean times she relied on love, through rough times she relied on Him. Now in happier times, she realizes that it always has been all about Him. She places all her trust in God and credits Him for never leaving her "I will never leave you or forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5), and making all things possible. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13). A poignant, heartfelt read about love and faith.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - book
I loved this book. I have even re-read it. Denise did such a good job. When you read the title you may think it is all about Alan but it's not. It's about God. The book has so many lessons in there for you to follow. I could relate to her stories. I do not have there fame but families are still just families---marriage and kids.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Not deep like it sounds
Just like the others who have read and reviewe this book, I didn't put it down until I finished it. It is excellently written and shows exactly how relying on Him will help anyone. The best part is, it's not in a churchy way. Anyone can read this book and enjoy it.

Personally, I was looking for MORE in the way of DEEP...HIM, stuff, but, thankfully have already experienced that. I just wanted someone elses experience and account for affirmation. It just seems that in this world so many give up and move on. I thank God for being there for me, then and now.

Denise is especially honest about her codependency which is very common in early marriages, but isn't only found there. It is something that needs addressed with a lot of situations today (especially with our children in today's world).

She does an amazing job at keeping her personal life personal, while opening up about the most intimate of things. The end 3rd of her book is remarkable.

I hope you purchase and enjoy.

I've heard it said by Dave Winer and many many others: if only Dean had reinvested half the money raised into the Internet, then ...

OK, so you're the Dean Campaign Chief Information Officer in August 2003. The money starts to roll in. $20 million over six months, $2-4 million per month.

What would you spend the money on?

  1. What does your monthly budget look like?
  2. What is your application and infrastructure portfolio?
  3. How much will you allocate to maintenance?
  4. You're building from scratch, so what problems do you hope to avoid through wise architecture?
  5. What are your big milestones?
  6. Who are your key vendors?

How do you spend in consonance with the campaign strategy?

  1. How will you use the Internet to bring offline voters into the campaign at the same numbers as radio or television broadcasts?
  2. What is your online strategy for responding to attack ads and opposition pundits in radio, television and print?
  3. Online community takes time to build and is very hard to organize geographically. What will you do to match the state-by-state primary schedule?
  4. What can you do with online services to serve the campaign in caucus states?
  5. You are preparing for Bush to launch in Spring 2004. What are your countermeasures to reach out to moderate Republicans online while the GOP uses its advanced voter email systems to barrage 200 million validated email addresses?
  6. How will you lower the cost-per-vote vs. the GOP?
