Editorial Review:

Product DescriptionStravecchio Oro del Tempo is a superior, 22-month aged Grana Padano produced by Agriform near Venice. This masterpiece compares beautifully with its better-known cousin Parmigiano Reggiano. The flavor of Stravecchio is intense and complex, with fruity overtones that evoke pineapple or strawberry, depending on the season. Like all precious things, every Stravecchio cheese is one of a kind, and each wheel is branded with a unique serial number. Agriform tests the quality of each wheel of Stravecchio every week until the twentieth month of aging. The end result of this rigorous testing process is that only the cheeses that deserve to become prime Grana Padano Stravecchio are stamped with the certificate of origin and guarantee. Made from raw cows milk

Features:
  • A world-class hard cheese
  • Quite versatile, serve it grated or chunked
  • Hints of pineapple and strawberry
  • Made from unpasteurized milk
  • Imported from Italy

A particularly optimistic design firm in Dubai called Timelinks has proposed designs for the Ziggurat, a complete city to be layered inside of a massive pyramid that could serve as home for a million people at a time. Timelinks is currently seeking patents for a variety of technologies that would make such a building possible, including a three axis public transportation system that would run residents up, through and across the pyramid. They've also claimed that with a hybrid wind, solar and steam power the Ziggurat would be able to meet its own power needs, and that there would be enough room to allow for some minor agriculture in designated "green spaces."

Before you just write this off as another wacky internet design concept, consider the absurdly ostentatious structures that Dubai has already built, and the fact that unlike the hyperluxurious ego-boosters currently under construction, the Ziggurat might be a viable housing solution for people who don't have a natural resource-infused trust fund. Using a simple Hibernate Interceptor, updating audit trail fields in a database (such as created_by, created_on, updated_by, and updated_on) can be accomplished with no changes to your application code. In other words, you won't need to and definitely should not be manually setting those audit properties littered around your application code.

Three days before the three-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina's landfall, the Gulf of Mexico braces for another storm that could hit the energy industry particularly hard. Kinetic Analysis Corporation, a disaster risk-management company, estimates that there is a one-in-three chance that Gustav will hit with sufficient force to shut down 10 percent or more of total U.S. oil production this year.
