Another reviewer mentioned the shipping is expensive on this, but that's because it's a gallon tub of this stuff. It'll probably last most people a year or two or three. Quality is good, but it could use a bit more flavor IMO. Seems the same as what they'd use in a movie theater, though. Wabash Valley Farms sells smaller containers of this (in squirt bottles) on their website, but not on Amazon for some reason.

The product itself is great - we love the stuff around here. That's why it gets any stars at all.
The biggest problem I have with this is the $10 shipping. Add that to the product price, and $23.99 takes this off my "worth it" list.

I've done a lot of research and I've tried a lot of products. This is it. I have a friend that owns a movie theater and he told me this is what is used. There are slight variations in theaters across the nation but this is the product used. He said they do not use real butter because it melts down the popcorn when it is hot. Real butter also tastes funny, yes, it's true. He said the theater tried it for a month and customers would come back complaining that the butter tasted funny and get a refund.
